First of all - how much rain!!! The earth is saturated and rich and healthy and simply delightful. What a blessing!!!

Good week. First, I am happy to notify you that we have transferred to real stone-ground organic flour. Also, we have a few new things on our produce list: Halumi cheese for 28 shekels, Gur cheese for 30 shekels (hard KASH cheese), and cheese cakes from goat cheese (recommended!) for 45 shekels.

Hi Friends,

Green garlic has a very short growing season. Garlic must be planted in the fall and can be harvested as green garlic for only a short period before the leaves dry out. In France they celebrate this time and harvest. Green garlic has a more gentle taste and may be eaten in its entirety raw in salads and sandwiches. It can also be used in cooking as regular dried garlic cloves are used.

So, this week, in honor of green garlic, we will learn about garlic from A to Z (actually aleph thru taph).

This week we have a new addition - seasonal and delightful, the green garlic.
Maybe I'll write more about it next week, but just a short word or two - this garlic looks like a green onion because it is young and has not yet developed a "head". We eat it whole! It is more delicate than the mature garlic cloves and the green part is wonderful fresh in sandwiches or salads. Enjoy!
Another week passed and the growth in the garden is lovely. The soil is saturated and the sun is shining.

Shalom to everyone,

First of all, I want to remind everyone of the change in the delivery day.

If The lack of rain and cold weather is the result of global warming, it is happening faster than expected and we are in trouble.

From the beginning of this winter, only 115 mm of rain fell in Jerusalem. The multi-year average rainfall here is 554 mm. accordingly, we have so far received only 21% of the expected rainfall for the winter, and only 36% of the expected rainfall up to this date.
