Happy holiday dear friends,
If someone received ginger that is not hard, please let me know so I can credit your account and send you new ginger. One of our boxes froze, sorry.

Best way to preserve your wet greens fresh, alot of sweet rain came down, is to dry them or wrap them in a towel and than put them in plastic bag in the fridge.

For those who have not yet heard - a green revolution in Jerusalem!More

Not spinach, yes from New Zealand,

Messages:

1. We are pleased to get out cartons back if they are in good shape. We reuse them. Please leave them outside and we will take them.
2. As usual I am attaching the file where you can order honey, olive oil, beans, and produce from Bat-Sheva (cheese and bread). I know it's a little confusing, but the attached form is only for these additions.
To order vegetables, sprouts and fruits please use our online ordering system at http://maggiesgarden.

"What winter, and what shoes!" as said in Hebrew to indicate it isn't a real winter...yet I hope...

That's it! The whole garden, except for one patch, is planted for winter.

The huge pumpkin plants that climbed up fences, terraces and trees, did not develop flowers anymore. The eggplants also transitioned into a sort of "freezing" of their growth. The tomatoes ceased to redden outside and from now on will be supplied by organic growers that have greenhouses. Even the basil that at the start of the season we long for, and later we got a little fed up with, grows very very slowly.

Hi,

In the recent weeks, our baskets were full of leaves and greens of all sorts, sizes and shades of color. Some of you share my enthusiasm for these greens and ask for extra, while some of you ask to "slightly reduce it if possible". I want to assume that reductions are because these winter veggies sometimes come with a bit of mud and therefore preparing the leaves takes a bit longer. In any event, I understand all points of view and am pleased that you share with me.
