To water or not to water? that is the question.
Dearest box receivers,
I'm reminding everyone that during the week of Hol Hamoed Peasch there will not be deliveries of boxes. Some of us will be on vacation and others will be busy planting....

I sure hope to see more rain...but we may have already seen the last rain of the season.
Anyhow, this week's newsletter is about this wonderful substance - water!
Pure water has a very simple form - two hydrogen (H) atoms connected to an oxygen (O) atom. The chemical way to write water is H2O. This simple form of this molecule is very special and unique in many many aspects.
You probably already know that 70% of the earth's surface is covered by water, but did you know that only 3% of all the water on the globe is fresh, and most of that is inside frozen glaciers.

Hi friends,
The pumpkins are starting to spread out!!!
Last week was all about hanging up the climbing plants, which we are trying to do quickly because we are late. So, to speed the process, I bought a "helmania" (a hand-held thing to bang large spikes into the ground), and we are suspending easy-to-climb fencing from them. I really like working by hand, but this gets the job done easier, better and faster.
Squash and Tripoli Pumpkins are already climbing.
